Colt & Alison
Sea Island, Georgia
Set inside the Lodge of the Sea Island Resort in Georgia, the Colt & Alison restaurant overlooks a lush seaside golf course created in 1929 by legendary designers Harry Colt and Charles Hugh Alison. Our design for Colt & Alison embraces the landscape in its overarching atmosphere, from the views of a new porch seating gallery to the color palette of mossy greens and greys.
Comfortable and dignified.
The dining experience is comfortable and dignified, meeting Southern heritage with traditional American design and a touch of the English country. Materiality speaks eloquently throughout the restaurant in hand-rubbed antique brass lighting, deep wood millwork and wall paneling, tactile buffed leather in tones of blue and butterscotch, and lacquered wood contrasted with tabletops of natural stone.

An unhurried dialogue between ease and grandeur.
A white Oak and American walnut parquet floor pattern adorns the main dining room, while the ceiling is crafted with a special microperforated finish to enhance the acoustics. The warm, generous feeling of the space is accompanied by memorable service moments where guests are served specialties of the house from tableside carts. As guests walk in, Colt & Alison begins an unhurried dialogue between ease and grandeur.
