For the design of the JW Marriott Tampa, our goal was to create a place that is inviting to visitors and locals alike. We found inspiration in the layered cultural history of the city and the spirit of the Channelside District, the essence of which pushed us to create a hotel experience that was provocative, unexpected, and alluring.

Contemporary, handsome, and polished.

We strived to create an interior that feels contemporary, handsome and polished with thoughtful handcrafted elements and bespoke finishes. A place where the visual narrative is also an examination of subtle contrasts: indoor spaces that feel connected to the outdoors, large programmed public areas that feel intimate, a modern point of view that feels completely timeless. A hotel for the new Tampa.
