Inspired by the ocean’s endless wonder, Blue by Eric Ripert is a textured, whimsical tribute to Grand Cayman. We hoped to create atmosphere through evocative color and authentic materiality, reflecting the undulating waves of the restaurant’s setting.

Grand Cayman’s natural landscape of majestic tricolored herons and blue iguanas come together with the iconic silver thatch palm throughout our design. Works of plaster bas relief illustrate the nature that makes Grand Cayman so vivid and alive, while poetic details like barstool legs mimicking the braided rope made from the silver thatch palm, shell-shaped sconces and a textured woven wallcovering complete the immersive coastal aesthetic.
